Recruitment training opens up careers for new food professionals
1.10.2020
Maustaja offers job seekers an opportunity to qualify and become employed in versatile food industry duties.
Maustaja is continuously developing its operations and expertise. On the personnel front, the latest step ahead is recruitment training, where job seekers can study food industry principles and duties, and then become employed in Maustaja.
Recruitment training is organised together with the human resources company Rikimet Oy a.k.a. Go On Oulu, which has been Maustaja’s partner in personnel leasing and recruitment for several years.
Job seekers can apply for the training through the Employment and Economic Development Centre, and five of them will start their studies at the end of October 2020.
Aiming for a permanent employment
The training program consists of both theory and practice taking a total of 60 days. 18 of them are carried out as local education and 42 days are work-based learning in Maustaja. After completing the training, a student will first be employed as Rikimet Oy’s temporary worker, but the final aim is to establish a permanent employment at Maustaja.
That steady job is really worth pursuing, as the employees of Maustaja describe the company as a safe and comfortable workplace with a fair team spirit.
“Once our employees get to know Maustaja, they usually stay here for a long time. The most important expectation for the recruitment training applicants is an enthusiastic and responsible working attitude,” says Maustaja’s HR Manager Jari Partanen.
